Classes are held every Saturday morning from September through May at the Wellington School in Upper Arlington (Columbus), Ohio.

We offer German classes for children and adults of all ages and knowledge levels:

  • Children (4 & Up) and Adults
  • Beginners through Advanced

Summer Program for Children
Registration is OPEN!  The program will run the week of July 16-20, 2012, from 9am-3pm each day on the premises of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Westerville, Ohio.  The theme this year is "Im Dorf und auf dem Land" (In the Village and In the Country).  Children will rotate in age appropriate groups through three distinct environments: "der Bauernhof" (the farm), "der Marktplatz" (the marketplace) and "der Spielplatz" (the playground).  German language and vocabulary will be reinforced through games, crafts, songs and food.  Cost is $185 plus a $10 per family registration fee.  The registration fee is waived for current OGLS students and a multi-child discount is available.  OGLS faculty members Chantal Shoaf, Angela Buckley and Andrea Niewiesk will be our teachers.
      Beginners are welcome!
